Roth’s Vintage Cars have Rich Historical Connections
Preserving vintage cars gives Marty Roth, a resident of Metairie, lot of pleasure. And it is his fascination for classic and vintage cars that has made him introduce the 1937 convertible Buick Roadmaster Phaeton to his impressive collection of six vintage cars.
The Buick has been purchased by Roth only two years back. Vintage cars are known to have historical connections, and this one is special to Roth because it is known to have carried eminent people like Franklin Roosevelt, General Douglas MacArthur, Harry Truman and Dwight D Eisenhower in it. The four- doored car has also served as the official parade car of Fiorello LaGuardia, the mayor of New York City from 1934 to 1945.
Roth's collection of vintage cars also includes the 1941 Cadillac belonging to the Vanderbilts and the 1930 Packard belonging to Grand Prix race car driver Abba Kogan.
